Chasing the Daylight: TDG Hike-A-Month Club Switches to Second Sunday Mornings for the Winter.

Hey what's up Hike-A-Month Club friends!

With the days getting shorter it’s time to make our seasonal adjustment to our monthly routine. With the sun setting so early our Tuesday evening slots are getting a bit too dark for a safe, groovy trek.

But because we refuse to let the winter blues keep us cooped up inside, we are making our annual switch of the Hike-A-Month Club from the second Tuesday at 5:00 PM to the second Sunday of every month at 10:00 AM.

This shift is all about maximizing that beautiful winter sunshine right here in our backyard. This club is built especially for our community of locals across the northern Berkshires—whether you are coming from North Adams, Williamstown, Adams, or elsewhere.

So many people miss out on winter hiking because they think the trails are only for the summer. But there is something completely magical about our Berkshire forests when covered by a tranquil blanket of white snow. You get crystal-clear views of Mt. Greylock through the bare trees, the quiet crunch of the trail, and the pure peace of having the woods practically to ourselves.

Plus, getting outside and moving during a New England winter is a total game-changer for your mind and body. It beats back the seasonal sluggishness and keeps you feeling strong. There is no better way to shake off the chills than warming up on a climb with awesome neighbors.

The setup is exactly the same: just $5 per month for a recurring membership, or $10 to drop in. And don't worry about unpredictable weather—if a big storm makes things unsafe, we will always reschedule the hike.

Sign up on the Hike-A-Month page to lock in your spot for our next Sunday morning adventure.

See you out on the trail!
