Greylock Glen Meadow Meander (Easy)
This is my go-to hike for folks wanting the Mt. Greylock experience—but the nice and easy version. We’ll get those amazing views of the the tallest mountain in Massachusetts from the valley, as well as a beautiful, peaceful segment along Peck’s Brook—very serene and meditative under cover of hemlocks. Then we’ll arrive at the meadow, full of wild tall grasses and flowers, with its incredible Greylock views. Finally we’ll wander through the Birch meadow with hundreds of blazing white birch tree trunks shining in the sun.
Coming at about 1.5 hours it’s the perfect length for a solo hiker, couple, or small group looking for an easy encounter with nature. Get the body moving, explore Greylock Glen, see the summit from a lovely meadow in the valley.
